SIOUX FALLS, S.D.— The State High School Basketball tournaments scheduled for this weekend and next weekend are still on as scheduled. According to a press release from the SDHSAA, there was a consultation with the Department of Health, the Governor’s Office and the state tournament venues on Wednesday, and the games will continue as scheduled. They are asking those who are vulnerable or at-risk to avoid large events and cheer on your team from home.

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The South Dakota Class B Girls State Basketball tournament begins today in Spearfish in the Donald Young Center on the campus of Black Hills State University. The tournament tips off at 12 noon Mountain Time with top seeded and unbeaten Corsica-Stickney facing 8th seed Irene-Wakonda followed at 1:45 pm Mountain Time by number 4 seed Faith taking on 5th seed Howard. The night session has 2nd seeded Ethan facing number 7 Castlewood at 6:00 pm Mountain Time and final game of the day pits 6th seed DeSmet facing number 3 seed Faulkton at 7:45 pm Mountain Time.
