SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State swimming and diving had a total of eight student-athletes named to the All-Summit League teams, announced by the league office Thursday. Four women, Kristen Davis, Tiffany Nguyen, Lily Schimke and Pierre-Ft. Pierre native Ashley Theobald, represented the Jackrabbits on the women’s 19-member team. On the men’s side, Jared Miller, Henry Skinner, Jacob Sutej and Cody Watkins were named to the 16-member squad. Theobald earned 2020 All-Summit League, placing second in the 100 IM (57.65), second in the 200 Free Relay (1:34.11 – school record), seventh in the 200 IM (2:06.28) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:31.65) at the Summit League Championships. The Ft. Pierre native also broke the school record in the 100 IM with a time of 57.22 at the Augustana Invitational, the league’s second-fastest time in the event this season. Of the eight Jackrabbits, Miller (2019) and Theobald (2018) are the only repeat honorees.
