COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. – Several Black Hills State men’s basketball players were honored by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in the final release of the season from the RMAC office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Joel Scott was named the RMAC Freshman of the Year in men’s basketball while BHSU head coach Ryan Thompson was named the RMAC Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year. In addition, Logan Ehlers of South Dakota Mines was named the RMAC Academic Player of the Year. BHSU tied with Dixie State for the RMAC regular season championship and finished 4th in the NCAA Division II South Central Region Standings. Alec Williams of South Dakota Mines was named to the RMAC Men’s Basketball Tournament All Tournament team as well.
