PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre JO Softball board is still watching the COVID-19 situation very closely. The board announced on Tuesday night that they have extended the registration deadline to April 10th. Coaches in Divisions 1/2 and 3/4 can email a copy of their rosters to pierrefastpitch@gmail.com. If the current COVID-19 recommendations are extended such that there can no longer have a season, the board will refund any registration fees. However the season is still scheduled to begin the week of May 18th . Information regarding coaches meetings will be sent out in the near future. The board added that it will also be following the SDHSAA guidelines not allowing any organized practices or games until May 4th.
