Chalk another postponed summer event up to COVID-19.
The Let Freedom Fly International Air Show had been scheduled for 4th of July weekend at the Pierre Regional Airport.
But, show organizer Jim Peitz says there’s uncertainty about whether or not large groups of people will be allowed to gather by July.
He says the featured performers, the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds, may not be ready to perform by July.
Peitz says at the moment, the Snowbirds can’t guarantee they’ll be available next year, but…..
Peitz says they’re hoping to set air show times so they don’t conflict with the parade, rodeos and fireworks displays happening in Fort Pierre.
