MOBRIDGE, S.D. – Planned PRCA Rodeo’s in Belle Fourche, Mobridge and Mandan, North Dakota are still on as scheduled in July. The Coronavirus (COVID 19) Pandemic has interupted several PRCA rodeos during the spring months moving into June but the number of rodeo’s still planned on going as scheduled is listed on the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Associations website www.prorodeo.com. The Belle Fourche Black Hills Roundup is scheduled to run from July 1 through the 4th while the Mobridge “Sitting Bull” Stampede is still on the schedule to have performances on July 2nd through the 4th, the same dates that the Mandan Rodeo Days rodeo is scheduled.

The South Dakota Rodeo Association is still planning on having a full slate of rodeos for most of the summer. The annual Ft. Pierre 4th of July Rodeo is still on as scheduled for July 3rd through the 5th at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Ft. Pierre as all rodeos scheduled for the month of July are still on as scheduled. Most of the SDRA rodeo’s scheduled for the month of June have been cancelled with the exception of the Dupree Pioneer Days Rodeo and the Sisseton Rodeo scheduled for June 27th and 28th. Each rodeo on the schedule may have different health and safety guidelines due to the Coronavirus (COVID 19) Pandemic set up by the individual communities and organizations of which the rodeo’s are sponsored by.
