The 25th annual Dakotafest farm show at Mitchell has been canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
American Farm Bureau Federation’s IDEAg Group LLC., has also canceled the 38th annual Farmfest show in Redwood County in Minnesota.
AFBF President Zippy Duvall says they are disappointed to cancel the shows, but the well-being of exhibitors, attendees, staff and volunteers is paramount. The 2021 Farmfest will be Aug. 3-5 while Dakotafest is slated for Aug. 17-19.
