9th Annual South Dakota Kite Day another success

Over 300 kids enjoyed time outdoors flying kites this week during the 9^th annual South Dakota Kite Day.

Participants ranged from 3 to 17 years of age. Each child got to take their new kite home. Pierre Elks Lodge #1953 and NextEra Energy Resources held the event at Hilger’s Gulch, near the State Capitol Building in Pierre.
