SIOUX FALLS – Sioux Falls school athletic events will allow spectators on a limited basis in a plan subject to approval by the school board.
The plan follows the guidance outlined in the SDHSAA’s plan for conducting fall sports safely. Attendance has been recommended to open in Sioux Falls in Tier 3, which allows four tickets for each player on a roster and also allows high school students and staff to attend with valid IDs.
Sioux Falls activities director Casey Meile told the Sioux Falls Argus Leader that those would be the only passes accepted, and that no Booster Passes or Adult Athletic Passes would be sold.
All who attend events are “expected” to wear masks. Each school will have an entry/exit plan to help avoid lingering, gatherings and cross-traffic.
