SIOUX FALLS – The Summit League has postponed its fall sports until the spring.
The Presidents Council unanimously made the decision Monday. It affects cross country, soccer and volleyball in the conference which includes South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota.
A statement from the league read in part, “The health, safety and welfare of the league’s student-athletes, coaches and staffs were at the forefront of this decision.”
