SPEARFISH – Black Hills State has released its 2021 indoor and outdoor track & field schedules. Three of the five indoor meets will be in Spearfish: the Myrle Hanson Open on January 16, the Dave Little Alumni Mile on January 30 and the Stinger Open on February 20. The Yellow Jackets will participate in the USD Alumni Meet on February 6 in Vermillion and the SDSU Indoor Classic on February 12 and 13 in Brookings. The RMAC Indoor Championships are set for February 26 and 27 in Gunnison, Colorado, with the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships scheduled for March 12 and 13 in Birmingham, Alabama.
BHSU will host the Yellow Jacket Spring Open in Spearfish to start the outdoor season on March 26 and 27. On April 9, the Yellow Jackets will take part in the Bauer Invitational in Rapid City. The RMAC Outdoor Championships will be in Pueblo, Colorado from April 30 through May 2. Last chance meets are set for May 8 and 15 before the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships May 27 through 29 in Kingsville, Texas.
