With the 2020 General Election upon us, Secretary of State Steve Barnett urges South Dakotans to confirm the sources of election information.
“To combat potential misinformation efforts for tomorrow’s election, I want to remind South Dakotans to verify the source of any election related information they encounter. Trusted election information sources include the Secretary of State’s Office or your local county auditor,” states Barnett.
South Dakota’s General Election will be held tomorrow (Nov. 3, 2020). Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Voters are encouraged to verify their polling place by contacting their county auditor or accessing the Voter Information Portal page on the Secretary of State’s website at https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx. County auditor contact information may also be found on the Secretary of State’s website.
Dakota Radio Group stations will have local and state election coverage Nov. 3 as information becomes available.
