SIOUX CITY, IA – Senior wide receiver Spencer Neugebauer of Dakota Wesleyan was named to the All-Great Plains Athletic Conference football second team on offense and named as the special teams honoree on Tuesday.
Neugebauer, a former Mitchell Kernel, received both honors for the second straight season. He led NAIA football in all-purpose yards with 1,353, receptions per game with 8.0 and total receptions with 72. Neugebauer was fifth nationally in all-purpose yards per game, fifth in kickoff return yards and sixth in receiving yards.
Dominick Warmbein was named to the All-GPAC second team on defense. Warmbein, a redshirt junior from Sioux Falls Washington, was 15th in the NAIA with five and a half sacks. He totaled eight and a half tackles for losses and 33 overall tackles.
Linebacker Sam Kretchmar of Huron, free safety Hayden Schmidt of Plankinton and defensive back Jacob Zamora of Sylmar, California were named as honorable mentions.
