PIERRE – Pierre’s recreation department has purchased some new equipment for the City Recreational Facility, and you can have the chance to try it out soon.
On Saturday, January 16, you can try out soccer darts, floor hockey, Nerf wars and dodgeball at the City Rec Facility, which is attached to the Boys & Girls Club of the Capital Area. Floor hockey and soccer darts can be sampled that day between 9:00 and 10:00 AM and the Nerf wars course and dodgeball will be available between 10:30 and 11:30 AM.
The sessions are designed for kids ages 8 through 12 and are $5 per person. Registration is mandatory: https://secure.rec1.com/catalog.
The Rec Facility and equipment can be rented for parties. They can include up to 20 children ages 6 and up. Time can be reserved in a 90-minute block for $75 or a two-hour block for $100. That includes staff, table and chairs.
