SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State women’s basketball forward Myah Selland has been named as the Summit League December Female Athlete of the Month.
In seven December games, Selland averaged 19 points, seven rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals. She scored in double figures in all seven games, with two 20-point games, and had three double-doubles.
This is the first time for Selland to be named as the Summit League Athlete of the Month. She was named as the league’s Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for three of the four full weeks in December.
