SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota was the pick of seven of the nine league coaches to finish first in the delayed Summit League volleyball season. USD is number one in the preseason poll, followed by Denver. South Dakota State was chosen eighth of the nine schools.
The Coyotes won the 2019 Summit League regular-season title, but Denver won the conference tournament. USD returns four starters, including conference Setter of the Year Madison Jurgens and Freshman of the Year Elizabeth Juhnke.
