SC Girls Break Losing Streak

FORT PIERRE – The streak and the frustration are over.

Stanley County girls basketball earned its first win in just over two years Thursday, ending a 44-game losing streak with a 33-31 win over Bennett County at Parkview Auditorium.  8th-grader Morgan Hoffman hit the winning basket for the Buffaloes with just under ten seconds left.

Jordyn Sosa led Stanley County with 16 points.  Taylee Stroup scored 11.

Stanley County had not won since a 45-44 home win over Bennett County on January 10, 2019.
