GRAND FORKS, ND – Otis Weah rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns Thursday as North Dakota stopped South Dakota 21-10 at the Alerus Center.
Mason Lorber kicked a first-quarter field goal to put USD (1-1, 1-1) up 3-0, but UND took the lead with a Quincy Vaughn second-quarter touchdown pass. Weah scored both of his touchdowns in the third quarter. Kai Henry rushed for the only Coyotes’ touchdown in the fourth quarter.
South Dakota will play Missouri State in the Coyotes’ home opener at the DakotaDome on Saturday, March 13.
