WATERTOWN – Aberdeen Roncalli stunned St. Thomas More and Hamlin shocked defending champion Winner Friday to advance to the championship of the Girls Class A State Basketball Tournament at Watertown Civic Arena.

Olivia Hanson hit two free throws with one second left for the winning margin for Roncalli (22-2). Madelyn Bragg led the Cavaliers with 13 points. Haleigh Timmer scored 27 for St. Thomas More.
Hamlin 43, Winner 37
Sisters Kami and Kylee Wadsworth combined for 34 of the 43 for Hamlin (22-2). Kami scored 20 and Kylee 14 for the Chargers, who took a 15-point lead with a big third-quarter run before Winner rallied to within three.
