PORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Willians Astudillo hit a home run for the game’s only run in the seventh inning as the Minnesota Twins clipped the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 Sautrday at Charlotte Sports Park.
Randy Dobnak had an effective start for Minnesota (6-6), pitching three shutout innings, striking out six and allowing only one hit. Matt Albers pitched the seventh and eighth innings for the save.
The Twins will host Boston at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers on Sunday.
