NORTH PORT, FL – J.A. Happ pitched two scoreless innings in his Twins’ debut Monday in a 5-1 spring training loss to the Atlanta Braves in North Port, Florida. Happ allowed one hit, struck out one and walked two.
Kyle Garlick, in the running for one of the starting corner outfield spots, hit his third home run of the spring for the Twins’ only run.
Minnesota (6-7-1) will host Pittsburgh Tuesday in Fort Myers, Florida.
