Thank goodness for Tuesdays! The snow is melting which is nice and we are getting closer to spring which is exciting. We are going to touch on the snow, but then we are going to think warm thoughts! Let’s have some fun together.
Topic One Snowday Activities
I was driving around yesterday and saw some kids building a snowman, others throwing snowballs and a group was even sledding over at the Gulch. It sparked the idea of a Facebook post. So yesterday afternoon, I asked Facebook what they like to do when it snows with this post!

I got quite a few responses. Some of them were to watch movies, make cookies, go snowmobiling and so many others. So the real question is, what is your favorite snow day activity? You can email me or you can Facebook message the DRG Facebook page!
Topic Two Shot-Only Bar
I promise I’m not an alcoholic. You can ask all of my friends in town, I have a two-drink limit when we go out or hang out! I did have my wild days back in college, which made me learn a lot about the different types of drinks. Strangely enough, I also wanted to bartend on the side. I thought it would be fun. But when I stumbled across this article yesterday, I knew we had to share it with you because this is a genius idea. According to Fox News, there’s a new Shots-only bar in the Seattle airport. Rel’Lish Burger is the creators of this establishment. You walk up to the bar and order your shot. They only have a few options for now. They give you your shot in a Red Solo shot glass and you do have to take it at the counter. The prices are not horrible by any means! It’s $7 for a single and $10 for a double. Isn’t this such a great idea. Imagine if they had craft shots like lemon drops? They would do so great. Now we need a country dance hall here in Pierre that is a Shots-Only bar! That would do so well! 😉 Maybe… a trip to Seattle anyone?
Shots! Shots! Shots! That's right, SHOT BAR is officially open at Rel’Lish Burger Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Located on Concourse B. Just Order, Shoot Your Shot and Go! SHOT BAR is the first concept like this to open at a U.S. airport.🥤 @flySEA #WORTHASHOT pic.twitter.com/S0445xHJK6

Topic Three Why Do We Wear Green on St. Patty’s Day
Have you ever wondered why we wear green on St. Patty’s Day? Well… you don’t have to anymore. I took the time to do some research and here’s what I found. According to National Geographic Kids, folks wear green to blend in with the Leprechauns so they don’t get pinched. Some other theories are that green brings you good luck and it shows their Irish heritage. Don’t forget to sport your green tomorrow… you don’t want to get pinched.
