SIOUX FALLS – St. Thomas More took advantage of a better inside game and foul trouble for Chamberlain’s star to defeat the Cubs Saturday 62-49 in the fifth-place game of the SDHSAA Boys Basketball Class A State Tournament at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Drayton Priebe led Chamberlain (18-6) with 15 points, but fouled out in the fourth quarter and was limited to 23 minutes. All-tournament selection Sellyck McManus scored 14 for the Cubs and Hayden Evans had 11 points.
