Noem orders flags at State Capitol to fly at half-staff tomorrow to honor former state legislator Gerald Apa

Governor Kristi Noem ordered that flags at the South Dakota State Capitol be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sundown tomorrow (April 10, 2021) in honor of former State Legislator Gerald (Jerry) Apa.

Rosary services for Apa are being held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lead starting at 6pm MT today (Friday, April 9). Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lead tomorrow at 10:30am MT.
