Two 18 year olds from Pierre have been charged with Aggravated Assault and Intentional Damage to Property $1000-$2500 following an incident last night at a residence.
According to the Pierre Police Department, Rayden Rodriquez and Justyce Murphy were arrested in the 2300 block of East Franklin after officers were alerted that an assault was taking place nearby. Upon investigation, officers learned Rodriquez and Murphy had assaulted two people with golf clubs and broke out windows and a tail light of one of the victim’s cars.
Information regarding injuries sustained by the victims wasn’t available.
Both teenagers were taken into custody and transported to the Hughes County Jail. In addition to the other charges, Murphy was charged with Possession of Tobacco by Someone Under Age 21.
