ST. LOUIS – Eight South Dakota State players and six from South Dakota were named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Academic Team.
To be nominated, a player must be a starter or important reserve, achieve at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, play in at least 50 percent of his team’s regular season games, be at least a sophomore and complete at least one year at his current school.
