BROOKINGS – Pierre Governor Girls Golf finished in the top five Thursday at the Brookings Invitational at Brookings Country Club.
The Governors were fifth overall with 354. Mitchell won the event with 329.
Junior Haley Nadeau finished individually in the top 10. An 84 was good enough for ninth place. Ellie Jo Simpson shot an 87, Hadley Hart fired a 90, Madilyn Brakke carded 93 and Hattie Baldwin had 96.
Reese Jansa of Harrisburg took the individual honor with a two-under 70.
