The dangerous world of TikTok has sucked me in again and I’ve learned another fun fact for you. This time it’ll help your car smell nice and fresh. I can’t find the original video, but I did find this one, so I thought I’d share it with you. This guy went to a local store and bought two cheap salt and pepper shakers. The guy then went over to the candle section and got some meltable scented wax. I’m not sure where this guy is from, but he has been experiencing the same kind of heat we have been seeing for the past few weeks. Temperatures for him have been in the 90’s. He put the wax in the jar… the jar in the car… (we’ve got some rhyming here)… and let it do its thing. Because it was so hot, the wax melts in the jar that’s in your car and releases the scent of your choice. He says it the strongest air freshener you will ever have! I seriously might need to try this for my truck Colt! I spilled some coffee in him the other day on my floor mats and now he smells really bad. I even washed the floor mats, but I must not have done a good enough job! I have an air freshener in there now, but it’s not doing its job. If you try this out, let me know what you think of it. Like I said, I might need to give this a try! There are some questions we do need answered though. The first one that comes to mind is how long does the scent last? Can you use the same wax for a few weeks and then change it out? If it’s not super hot outside, will it still work? Where should you keep the jar? In the cupholder? On the floor? Hummm if you can answer these questions, please let me know. I’d love to check into this more!
