Inmate Christian White Face is back in the custody of the South Dakota Department of Corrections.

A minimum-security inmate has been placed on escape status.
Inmate Christian White Face left the Rapid City Community Work Center Nov. 7, 2021, to go to his work release job. He failed to return to the Work Center at the assigned time following his shift.
White Face, age 24, is a Native American male. He is 6-feet-2 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
White Face is serving a sentence for possession of a controlled substance from Pennington County.
Failure to return from assignment constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
