O’Gorman and Wagner girls teams are new number-one teams in this week’s South Dakota Media High School Basketball Polls, released Monday.
O’Gorman took over the AA girls’ top spot after a win over previously top-ranked Sioux Falls Washington. Wagner took over as the top team in Class A after last week’s top-three teams all lost.
Sioux Falls Roosevelt, Dakota Valley and De Smet remain the top boys teams. Aberdeen Roncalli is still number-one in girls’ Class B.
Winner stays third in boys Class A. White River and Lower Brule stay second and third in boys Class B, with Platte-Geddes taking over at number five. White River stays at number four in the Class B girls poll.
