Breitling defeats Gosch for District 23 state senate seat; Moore and Wangsness win in the House race

Bryan Breitling will serve a second term as the state senator for District 23. He received 3019 votes to defeat current state House Speaker Spencer Gosch who got 2552 votes.

Breitling says he covered a lot of ground while campaigning.

Breitling says District 23 is, for the most part, a very rural district.

On the House side in District 23, Scott Moore led the field of four republicans by garnering 3421 votes. James D. Wangsness was second with 2867 votes. Gregory Brooks took 1248 votes and Brandon Black had 660 votes.
