North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring congratulates Maci Wehri of Mott on winning the 2022 National Miss Agriculture USA title earlier this summer (June 19, 2022) at the annual competition in Ohio.
Wehri, the daughter of Dean and Kristi Wehri, grew up on her family’s farm and ranch near Hebron, helping raise Gelbvieh cattle. She is currently a student at Dickinson State University, studying English literature, theater and communications.
“Wehri is using her platform to spread awareness about the crucial topic of farm safety. She will spread her message at schools and different organizations around North Dakota and surrounding states,” said Goehring. “Congratulations to Maci on this tremendous achievement!”
