HIGHLIGHTS: A study found Idaho has the most UFO sightings per capita, followed by New Hampshire, Montana, Vermont, and New Mexico.
FULL STORY: My favorite thing about this study is the website that did it, because its mission is to get more people to wear glasses . . .
MyVision.org commissioned a study to find out which states have the most UFO sightings.
Just by sheer numbers, it’s California. But that’s because it has the most people. If you look at the per capita numbers, the real answer is . . . Idaho.
It’s also the top up-and-coming state for UFOs. 32% of all sightings reported in Idaho have happened in the past five years.
The ten states with the most sightings per 100,000 people are: Idaho . . . New Hampshire . . . Montana . . . Vermont . . . New Mexico . . . Maine . . . Oregon . . . Wyoming . . . Washington . . . and Connecticut.
The study also found 78% of Americans think aliens exist . . . 1 in 10 think they’ve seen a UFO before . . . and 37% think the U.S. government has already made contact with extraterrestrials.
