The Fort Pierre Community Appreciation Celebration is today (July 12, 2023) from 4-8pm at the Expo Center.
Shane Kramme with the Fort Pierre Chamber says there will be food, family fun and live music.
The Community Appreciation Celebration is free to the public.
A few of the planned highlights include:
- RTC Pedal Pull will be held for kids ages 4 to 12. The top three winners in each age group qualify to go to the State Pedal Pull Championships in Mitchell on Labor Day. - Inflatables for kids of all ages
- Fort Pierre Fire Department will have water fun for the kids
- Free meal sponsored by the Fort Pierre Chamber of Commerce
- The Legion will be selling beer and wine
- The Sidehackers band will provide live music
- A free-will donation will be used to support the Hupp, Ludemann and Richter families
- Rawlins Municipal Library
