Daly Commits To Sanford International

SIOUX FALLS – Former PGA and Open Championship winner John Daly has committed to play in this year’s Sanford International PGA Tour Champions event.

Daly famously won the PGA Championship in 1991 after being the ninth alternate in the field. He won the Open Championship in 1995.

Daly shot a 68 in the opening round of last year’s Sanford International, but then withdrew due to a knee injury.

Also committing are K.J. Choi and Scott Parel. Choi, a nine-time tour winner, tied for second at the Sanford International in 2021. Parel has four PGA Tour Champions wins.

The 2023 Sanford International will be played September 15-17 at Minnehaha Country Club.
