CASPER, WY – 12 runs in the fifth inning turned the game around for the Casper Spuds in a 14-8 win over the Oahe Zap Saturday at Mike Lansing Field, the seventh straight defeat for the Zap.
Dawson Baracani, Matthew Marsic and Chandler Stocking drove in two runs apiece for Casper, who scored their 12 runs in the fifth on only five hits, five errors, two walks, two hit batsmen, a balk and a passed ball.
Jackson Mix doubled, tripled and drove in two runs for the Zap (14-36). Kyle Memarian and Trenton Duchscherer also drove in two runs each.
