City Finance Officer Heather Beck said the State FAA liked the idea of having a ladder truck at the airport. Also at the council meeting, approval was given on a cemetery deed, a tax abatement, and seasonal staff for the pool, park and street.
Council passed a motion to increase the expenditure of $12,330 to the Park for an insurance claim to repair the map sign in the City Park.
The City will apply for a grant to assist with resurfacing the Mobridge walking trail. Council approved applying for a 70/30 split, with the City’s share at $114,000.00.
Council members received a copy of the letter from Legislative Audit informing the City of their acceptance of the 2022 audit.
