MITCHELL, S.D. – Future college basketball stars of tomorrow make up today’s Class A all-state girls basketball team. The all-state first team, which is chosen by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association, features three South Dakota State University signees and a rising sophomore already receiving major Division I scholarship offers. The first team includes Tea Area’s Katie Vasecka, Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal, Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Emilee Fox, Sisseton’s Krista Langager, Flandreau’s Claire Sheppard and Hamlin’s Addison Neuendorf. Vasecka is the Class A girls basketball player of the year.
