Lyman’s Volmer and Scott, Sully Buttes’ Wittler named to Class B girls all-state basketball team

MITCHELL, S.D. – Four decorated seniors headline this year’s Class B girls basketball all-state first team, which was chosen by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association. The first team features seniors Ava Lingemann of Ethan, Skyler Volmer of Lyman, Paige Kjerstad of Wall and Abby Aslesen of Howard. Juniors Addalyn Steffensen (Arlington) and Althea Gust (Centerville) round out the first team. Lingemann, who was selected as the Class B player of the year, is making her second straight all-state first-team selection. Volmer and Kjerstad are on the first team for the first time after being third team selections last season and Asleson was a second team selection last year.

First Team:
