The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold its annual spring public meeting today (March 27, 2024) in Fort Pierre to update the region on current conditions.
Corps officials will provide an update on the status of mountain snowpack, a runoff forecast for the year, and how operations during the runoff year will meet the authorized purposes for the Missouri River Mainstem System.
The Oahe Reservoir meeting is at 10am CDT at the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center (210 Verendrye Drive).
Public meetings are held each spring and fall across the Missouri River basin.
