A 64 year old man from Henry, TN, man died Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 6, 2024, 4:16pm) in a single vehicle crash on I-90, two miles west of Belvidere, SD.
Preliminary crash information indicates Ricky D. Hardin, the driver of a 2007 Harley Davidson STC, was eastbound on I-90 near mile marker 161 when he left the roadway and entered the median. The motorcycle tripped and began to roll, separating Hardin from the motorcycle. Hardin sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
