If you’re still wondering who won the Drake / Kendrick Lamar beef, this might just settle it:
Kendrick has been chosen to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. He says, quote, “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
Jay-Z, whose Roc Nation co-produces the Halftime Show, says, Kendrick is, quote, “truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer,” who has an “unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally.”
Although it’s Kendrick’s first time headlining, it’ll be his second Super Bowl Halftime Show. He was part of the hip-hop-themed show in 2022.
Super Bowl 59 goes down February 9th in New Orleans. (NBC News)
