Public school districts in South Dakota must have their 2024-25 enrollment numbers finalized by the last Friday of this month (Sept. 27, 2024).
Pierre Schools Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says this year’s numbers look “promising.”
Glodt says Pierre’s enrollment has dropped the past two school years.
Glodt says the enrollment number directly correlates with the state education funding formula.
Glodt says overall, the Pierre School District is off to a great start for the 2024-25 school year. And, he says, administrators have been impressed by the district’s new staff members.
