OCTOBER 2, 2024:
As part of Homecoming activities this week (Sept. 30-Oct. 4, 2024), Stanley County Schools held Coronation last night (Oct. 1) at Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
Caycee Knight was chosen as the Queen and Colton Brady was selected as the King. The two will preside over Buffalo Homecoming festivities for the balance of the week.
Other Stanley County High School seniors selected for the 2024 Homecoming Royal Court are:

King candidates: Calvin Grandon, Noah Baldwin and Kaden Montana.

Queen candidates: Keira Briggs, Camryn Norman and Isabella Talamantez.
2nd grade crown bearers were Keslyn Stoddard and Trigg Townsend.
This year’s Homecoming theme is “Classic Video Games!” The Stanley County Homecoming Parade will be Friday at 2:30pm CT.
Homecoming concludes with the Stanley County Buffaloes football team taking on the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats at 7pm CT at Ole Williamson Field. DRG Sportscaster Darren Boyle will have the game on FM stations 94.5 and 100.5, with video and audio streaming on the KPLO page at www.DRGnews.com.
