At the beginning of the season if you had asked me where these two teams sat in the NFC West, I would’ve likely swapped where these two teams sit now. We knew the Seahawks would probably have some growing pains with new head coach Mike MacDonald, and they have, just look at their loss last week to the Giants. But Seattle and Geno Smith has been good thus far. The 49ers come into this game desperate for a win, as they sit 0-2 in divisional play. With Christian McCaffrey still hurt (and not looking to return anytime soon) Jordan Mason is trying to fill those shoes and has been effective. Tonight feels like a very big game for both.
