At Wednesday’s (October 9th) meeting of the Mobridge City Council, the council approved a resolution authorizing extension of bond funding for construction work at Mobridge Regional Hospital. Mobridge Mayor Gene Cox explained the resolution.
That resolution will extend the bond financing through May 1, 2026 on the hospital expansion.
Also approved by the council Wednesday night:
-an airport maintenance agreement with the State;
-a front footage resolution with no changes from last year;
-wage increases for police officers and salaried employees;
-new hire Mackenzie Whitebull as part-time building maintenance;
-an assessment roll resolution against several properties. Mayor Cox talked about it.
Mayor Cox detailed a resolution requesting waiving of a sidewalk.
The resolution failed on a 3 to 2 vote by the council.
