If your kid . . . or your partner . . . has trouble getting up in the morning, because they were up all night playing VIDEO GAMES: This could be the perfect gift.
Nintendo has announced a new alarm clock, which will allow you to pick music from 35 video game scenes . . . including “Super Mario Odyssey”, “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, “Splatoon 3”, and “Pikmin 4”.
It also has a cool, cartoonish Nintendo look . . . but it isn’t JUST a gimmick.
It’s an “interactive” clock, which features motion sensor technology that responds to your movements. So you can snooze your alarm with motion alone . . . or stop it by getting out of bed.
It also collects data on how much you move around in your sleep, and you can add an hourly chime themed to your chosen title, like a grandfather clock. There are also “sleepy sounds” to wind down with soothing music at your bedtime.
It’s called the “Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo,” and it’ll be available early next year for $99.99 . . . so unfortunately, you won’t find it in time for the holidays. But Nintendo Switch Online members can buy it early in the My Nintendo Store.
