Before last night’s NL and ALCS games, it felt like the Dodgers and Yankees were on a collision course for the World Series. After last night’s games it feels like one series might get interesting, and the Dodgers are still cruising to the WS. In a thrilling Game 3, the Guardians battled from behind seemingly all night. Home runs from Aaron Judge and then Gincarlo Stanton in the 8th inning to give the Yankees the lead felt insurmountable for Cleveland, then a late run in the ninth to extend the Yankees lead 5-3 almost felt like the final nail in the coffin. But Jhonkensy Noel hit a two-run bomb in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game sent Cleveland into a frenzy. It felt like the series went from lifeless to thriving in one swing. David Fry secured the win in the tenth inning with his two-run shot to make the series 2-1.
In the ALCS game the Dodgers imposed their will and proved they’re simply more talented than the Mets, beating New York 10-2. The Dodgers are now just one win away from punching their ticket to the World Series and can do so tonight. Below are the start times for tonight’s matchups:
Dodgers vs. Mets- 4:08 CT
Yankees vs. Guardians- 7:08 CT
