The Fort Pierre City Council has approved an engineering agreement (Oct. 21, 2024) to develop a maintenance yard for storing city property.
Scott Schweitzer with Brosz Engineering presented a plan showing three buildings in the proposed space, one of which would be the town’s current city shop.
Schweitzer recommended doing the outdoor work, then doing the inside.
Fort Pierre will use the maintenance yard to house city equipment, parts and supplies.
