Driver taken to hospital after cement truck rolls onto it’s top east of Pierre

The driver of a cement truck had to be extricated from the vehicle after the truck rolled onto it’s top early this afternoon (Nov. 5, 2024).

Pierre Volunteer Fire Department Chief Ian Paul says the cement truck rolled partially into a ditch at a job site when the incident happened.

Further details of the incident are not yet available.
